Sustainability

As well as our standard tubes made of virgin aluminum, we also offer highly sustainable tubes in our Blue Tube Evo, Monotube, and MonoRefill ranges.

These three ranges use recycled and recyclable aluminum. They protect your product, care for our environment, and make a powerful statement about your brand.

They are made of 100% recycled aluminum (95% of which is PCR), which significantly reduces emissions. A unique alloy designed especially for TUBEX allows us to incorporate post-disposal aluminum packaging into our tubes.

The Blue Tube Evo, the Monotube, and the MonoRefill also offer excellent barrier properties that provide all the safety and reliability your products need.

The Blue Tube Evo

With the Blue Tube Evo, we launched the world’s first tube made of 100% recycled aluminum.

Top features of the Blue Tube Evo:

• Made of 100% recycled aluminum: 5% PIR and 95% PCR, which includes disposed-of and recycled aluminum packaging
• Infinitely recyclable
• Built for real circularity

The Monotube

Samples, miniatures, and travel sizes are must-haves in any beauty range. But the packaging also needs to be sustainable and minimize its environmental impact.

The Monotube is made of 100% recycled aluminum with 95% PCR content. It’s recyclable and features a snap-off aluminum closure.

Because every part of the tube is produced from aluminum, we manufacture both the tube and the closure in one production step. There’s no need for a separate screw-on cap made of plastic or any other material.

Compared to conventional packaging for samples, such as sachets, the Monotube makes it much easier to dispense the product. And if the sample is large enough for multiple applications, you can use the snap-off cap to reseal the tube and use the rest later.

The Monotube is available in a range of sizes (sample-size, travel-size, single- or multi-use), making it a versatile solution for a wide range of products.



The MonoRefill

Refill packaging will be disposed of immediately after use, so it must have a low environmental impact and be easy to recycle. It should also be user-friendly and provide optimal protection for its contents.

The MonoRefill is our latest innovation, designed to give you everything you need from your refill packaging. It’s lightweight, made of 100% recycled aluminum (95% of which is PCR), and is easily recyclable.

The MonoRefill is ideal for refilling perfume flacons and different types of jars and small bottles. It can also carry concentrates to refill bigger bottles or dispensers.

The pillars reflect our awareness that our business activities must be mindful of their social and ecological impact, and must respect the rights of everyone in the supply chain.

We have also signed up to global initiatives such as the UN Global Compact and the Science Based Targets initiative.

Transparently reporting on our CSR performance is a priority for us. By participating in regular assessments such as those performed by EcoVadis, CDP, and SMETA, we provide honest updates on our progress across the three pillars.

We are very proud to have received an EcoVadis gold medal for the third year in a row in 2023.
